MAP Handling France

Anyone know the inside info on MAP? Heard they've been forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in France.

Is this at all stations? Any affect on Landmark?

At a quick glance nothing about MAP in the French media this AM, I'll keep a look out for anything.

Heard they've been forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in France.
AFAIK no such thing, and in any event actually going bankrupt and out of business in France is much less straightforward than the likes of the UK/USA. You basically need official/judicial approval to actually declare yourself bankrupt and lay people off, so if MAP are actually headed that way it will be a very slow process...

Yes that is right.

I have found these two articles:

Aviapartner et GH Team reprennent les activités d?AMC Group à Nice - Logistique

http://www.lantenne.com/Aviapartner-...up_a21853.html

Aviapartner will take over MAP's ground handling in all the stations while GH Team France (ex Swissport France) will take over MAP's cargo handlling operations.

118 people will lose their jobs. The second article says that MAP had expanded well in most French airports but went bankrupt due to the expansion of low cost carriers and the strengthening of interentional ground handling companies like Aviapartner and Menzies (which entered Nice airport in 2014).
