BA late response post interview

I had a interview at BA for a Cargo Agent position over a week ago. I was told I would hear back within 5 working days but it is now over that. I know BA have a bit of a reputation for replying to people late but I was wondering if this means I probably didn't get the job?

Working in this industry has been a dream of mine so I was very excited when I got a interview a few weeks after finishing my degree. I know I fluffed a few questions in the interview but the interviewer seemed impressed with my responses to questions specific to the advertised role. However, I'd rather not have false hope of a positive response if a late reply generally means you've been rejected.

BA late response post interview

Not necessarily. When I joined as an apprentice it took about 2 weeks to hear back and that was an acceptance !

Fingers crossed for you. 2-3 weeks is average at the moment it seems

Safe flying
