BA handling at Heathrow
Guys, quick question. I notice BA now seem to be underwing handled by Menzies in T3, is this recent? When I flew out last year it was done in house by BA themselves but it seems T3 have joined T1 by using Menzies.
Is this a strategic move or the remnants of a BMI contract with everything coming back in house over time.

Remnants of BM.
After years of not seeming to be interested in third party handling, BA now seems to possibly be looking at this again at least for oneworld partners. They took over AA handling last year.
Not sure how long Menzies will hold onto this work.

All the A320s based out of T3 last month were pushing with Menzies tugs, that's why I was curious. I guess technically some are parked on the old T1 Irish Stands but they're part of the T3 operation. My B747 flight last year had been all BA handled so I assumed they had outsourced.
