Altea and ZFW estimation

Hi guys,

I have one technical question regarding the ZFW estimation in Altea.
I have searched all over internet and i cant find how Altea solves problem of ZFW estimation.in one case study i have found that Finair reduced number of ZFW error records by a massive 48.5% by using Altea.
Any idea how program does this?

Altea and ZFW estimation

More accurate historical data can be used for planning purposes - eg different routes may have average heavier bag weights than others so rather than use a standard 13kg or 15kg per bag Altea has the facility to look at the average bag weight on a particular route/flight in the past and use that to calculate the EZFW.
