Do airlines/airports sponsor people to do degrees before employment?

I'm graduating in July 2014 (fingers crossed but it's looking good for a 2:1) in BEng Aerospace Engineering. I want to assess all my options of employment and have been making enquiries worldwide about a career. My options that I am considering at the moment are;

- Carrying out an apprenticeship with Monarch at BHX with the aim of becoming B1 licensed.

- Apply for jobs in airline/airport operations with the aim of trying to get somewhere in management later on in life

- Look at graduate schemes with airlines/airports

- Finally, my newest avenue of thought, do an MSc at Cranfield University in either Air Transport Management or Airport Planning and Management, both of which are 1 year post-graduate degrees

So as the title of the thread suggests, I want to know would any airports/airlines take up someone on deferred employment and pay for them to go through a years degree such as the one above with the aim of permanent employment upon graduation?

Unlikely, at BHX, not heard of them doing this in the operational areas.
