Flight Delay Codes / Logging Procedures

I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING AT DEVELOPING A DELAY RECORDING DATABASE FOR MY EMPLOYER. AT PRESENT THE SETS OF DELAY CODES THAT WE ARE USING SEEM TO BE TOO VAGUE FOR THE JOB.

WITHOUT SOUNDING CHEEKY, COULD ANYONE FORWARD THE DELAY CODES/REASONS CURRENTLY BEING USED BY THEIR OPERATIONS DEPARTMENTS?

YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Andy,

why not using the standard IATA codes (a copy may be found in the Airport Handling Manual AHM 011). This way everybody in the industry will be able to make sense out of your movement messages.

Cheers

Agree with FCIT - use IATA, industry standard. Don't go along a path that only your op understands the codes.

On the IATA online shop.

Unfortunately nothing is for free unless you can of course borrow from elsewhere & inadvertantly photocopy...
