AIG acquirs bmi - groundhandling issues at LHR
Now that IAG has purchased bmi it may be the time to ask what affect this will have on handling & terminal allocation.
Presumably BA will want to move bmi ops to T5 for easier transfer but will there be enough space? If not BA might need to move some flights to T3 where they already operate. Could AC fill the gap by moving to T1 (along with CO from T4)?
Any thoughts on the above anyone? Also what is the likely timescale of moves? How fast do things like this happen at LHR?
Also will staff handling bmi automatically TUPE over to BA?

Given BMI self handle at EDI, MAN and even still handle at GLA, I guess these stations are going completely as I don't see BA getting back into self handling.
