Crew Scheduling via MS Outlook
I've been tasked with providing a "one-stop" crew scheduling tool utilising MS Outlook Calendar to ensure that individual crew Calendar "conflicts" i.e. meetings etc. won't interfere with the scheduling process.
I've looked at such a system and concluded that it was manpower intensive and that the many changes to "routine" that are experienced by my crews makes it a very difficult system to use.
Having previously rejected the idea it now transpires that, like it or not, the percieved system WILL be implemented... I'd appreciate any ideas/comments from anyone else who has been "tasked" with such a project.
Many thanks

I just knew that I'd get a smart-ass suggestion to my post! Trust me... I don't like the idea either and that a piece of A3 paper and a pad of sticky labels would do a much better job; but that's how it is... there ain't no money to spend and I'm up against those who don't know better!
