permits Niger

Does anyone have more information about the new information that we need to request to a private company for permits from the CAA in Niger? I received a mail and searched the Internet and found below information

Arabian Aerospace - CAA Niger makes Hadid exclusive agent for overflight and landing permits

Now same as when flying to Iraq?

No change. Carry on using who you use now for Niger.

For Iraq, simply contact CAA and follow the procedure which is actualy very easy compared with some countries.

bizarre

Thanks Viking for your help

I am not sure I understand how can a private company in the middle east get the monopole over a country in Africa? Do you know if they charge extra fees??

As it stands, there is no monopoly for Niger. Carry on using the agent you have before.

I will PM you the prices they quote for Niger and I am not associated with Hadid and never want to be.

Thanks Merlin - it sounds like your knowledge could be very helpful for sure! I was worried when I read it in a magazine and that is why I needed more opinions to know if it was true - we will see how the flight goes

The Merlin has explained in a more technical way but in essence, the wording is correct.

I can get Niger permits and lets face, Syria doesn't factor anywhere

I mean I can get Niger permits without using anyone from Syria, or origins in Syria. No offence to Syrians, I just don't need to use them.

Its total crap that they have exclusive rights. I am surprised the editor will allow such poor capture of information. Amazing what you can claim to do these days!!!!
