Codeco-reserving seats before checking a passenger in

I am now finished my shadowing and from 0300 on wednesday morning i am on my own i just wanted to check with some other psa's that when say a pax comes up to your desk and the first thing they say is we are a family of four and we all want seats together, what code do you use in CODECO to hold the seats for them before you enter api's and the actual check in procedures?

thanks

Bring the name/group.
Then line number/S/seat; ex. 1/s/2a, 2/s/2b. 3/s/2c

That should work fine, that's what we do when we edit flights.
