Air Berlin off to Gatwick
In september i posted Air Berlin join oneworld and asked would they pull out of STN and go to Gatwick to be near there partners.....well the answer is yes they will as from Feb ....it looks like the Hannover and Nurumberg will be the first to go.........what next all the dash 8 aircraft going into London city......unless Servisair pull something out of the bag soon at STN, it will be a trip down the job centre for all.

DCMs Already Started !!!!!!
Servisair already started the thinning out process by
outing two of the best Ops Supervisors at STN !!!
Didn't mean to imply they were gay but they were ex Aviance
so may be that was the plan.... Also same process for
two of the Ramp Supervisors and one of them will have
to be from the Servisair stable !!!!!
......as for the Swissport pushing Air Asia A320 that was
doing a one off charter .. Air Asia supplied the aircraft..

There are 4 flights 1st wave followed by 2 after lunch
and a further 4 in the evening peak...that's Day 1 - 5 inc
then Day 6 is just the 4 in the morning and Day 7 the 4 in the evening...
...so that's 58 per week...
Strongly rumoured here that NUE and HAJ will leave STN in Feb 2011
so that will be 22 flights off to LGW. Looks like they may start a TXL
at the same time...

Air Berlin
The routes that I have seen slots allocated for at LGW are for
HAJ - NUE and TXL with the TXL operating a evening rotation
What other routes are still left at STN then?

I could not agree more about one of the ex aviance ops men being the wrong choice to go from STN....i had the job of running him down the car park in the early hours and saying good bye to him.....he was a very nice bloke.............I COULD HAVE MADE AT LEAST ONE BETTER CHOICE THAN HIM .....I wish him all the best in what ever he does next.

Looks like only cargo left at Stansted when Air Berlin wander down to LGW.
Must be a few jobs in that arena for the ousted management..
To think a few number of years ago Servisair had over 90% of the buisness at Stansted, now look at it, dont see much fire in managers bellies to fight back and hold on to what is still left..
Thinking about it, did'nt cargo have a shake up of staff and managers a while back with some experienced Duty Managers leaving the company and a transfer of some staff to ramp, all connected with the aquisition[sorry about spelling] of Aviance ??
