US Dispatch School/Courses

Hi Everybody,

I'm considering traveling to the US to participate in one of the Courses for Aircraft Dispatch. I think I have narrowed my choices down to two:

Jeppesen Ground School in Denver, CO
OR
Sheffield School Of Aeronautics, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This is a complete career change for me and have spent some time in the US with work and holidays. This will not form part of my final descision.

If anyone has any advice or particularly experience of either of these school then I would very much appreciate your comments.

Do a search here on Pprune and you see that Sheffield scores highly among those who have been there, I haven't, but from everyone who I've spoken to about them they are considered amongst the best, if not the best. I can't comment on Jepp's courses.

Would this be self funded?
Would this be with a view to working in the States or returning to the UK?
