Does anyone know what a Planning Controller does?

The question is in the title! I saw a job advertised with an airline for a Planning Controller to assist the Schedule Planning Manager and was wondering what the exact job profle was of both the Planning Controller and also Schedule Planning Manager.

Many thanks in advance.

Titles do not always mean the same thing in different airlines, so I would be inclined to ask the company advertising the post what the job entails.
