Exemption 3585!??

Exemption 3585!??

Hey guys, Seems like FAA exemption 3585 is for new taf format?? well i am not so sure about that, need details about that.. Post any info, if anyone got about exemp. 3585

Exemption 3585

Hello,

This is nothing to do with the actual formats of TAF's.

Once authorised for an airline by the FAA it allows a 121 carrier to deviate (or change their interpretation) from the applicable FAR's. It essentially allows the airline to dispatch the flight when the weather at destination and alternate are below published minimums.
