Swissport job cuts

Just heard swissport have cut all the assistant co-ord roles at LGW in both check in and ramp and are looking to do the same in all departments and stations. Many people i know from swissport have said this is the demise of a once great company (groundstar) that is now subject to going the same way as many others. Morale at an all time low. These guys are mainly the ones that started the company up, helped win contracts through their professionalism and hard work and have now been shot down due to the terrible management infarstructure inplace.

I know exactly what you mean, BHX had it last year and it's going to happen again this year. Still it does give some the chance to go and work somewhere where you are more appreciated. I used to be very proud to work for Groundstar, now I just feel sorry for all those that are left to suffer as the inevitable demise gets closer and closer

Where's Rainboe when we need him?

Lots of "stuff" for him to get his teeth into here!
