Standby duty Sub part Q?

Our ops manual states "Planned Standby Duty (all cases) Max 12 hours" - on a British AOC.

What does Sub part Q state? Anyone?

Down to the individual NAA i think.
If you go to European Cockpit Association (ECA) Website - Home they have loads of info there. Particularly interesting is the state of play amongst our European colleagues (or lack of more like)
In my view it's a FWOTAM (fa*king waste of time and money)
Enough to make me throw the phone down
