8.33 Carriage Requirements?

Just filed an FPL which has been rejected on the grounds of "FLIGHT PLAN DOES NOT COMPLY WITH 8.33 CARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS".

I think its to do with being 8.33 radio equiped.


Ie in the uk you have stay out of upper airspace.

8.33 KHz radios are a requirement above FL195 in European airspace. If you have to fly above FL195 then you need to a) Have them; and b) Say you have them in the equipment codes box of the FPL ('Y' I think, if not then it's 'W')
