Technical Library

Dear All,

How do you update the Jeppesen, AFM, FCOM, QRH and other Flight Operations Documents Revisions on board all your aircrafts.
Do you follow a seperate procedure for International Flights ?
What is the layout of your Technical Library / Documentation Section?

Thanks in advance

No, of course not. Most airlines do it on their own. Some let their engineering department take care of it and some use catering processes to deliver the paper to the aircraft.

What exactly do you want to know?

Jetflyboy............. you say expensive.......but how much does it cost to employ people to update your manuals within a company?

How motivated are they when they do it? Do you have your CSR's do it during down time?

How many mistakes does the above scenario lead to? IOSA always check this out.......

Saftey concerns..................

Now how expensive is it again?

You are right in saying it aint cheap, but what is in the airline industry! But you know how much its going to cost you upfront so you can budget, you know that every week come rain or shine your Jeppesen (route), Tech manuals, MELs, QRH, Checklists etc etc are updated consistently by well qualified staff and delivered all for you right onto the flightdeck of all your a/c plus bases, sims, crew rooms, pilot managers offices...mmmmm.....im not on commission neither
