Aircraft routing quandary

The airline I work at uses RM for managing the A/C routing. Thereafter information is fed into various other systems for viewing purposes

From a maintenance planning standpoint, in the management of contingencies, the system isnt user friendly in allowing to create different routing scenarios. Imagine that in this day & age, the analysts print out the routing on paper & use different coloured highlighters to mark possible scenarios

Changing the system is not an option at this point, since the company has purchased a multi million dollar MRO system that covers routing & "supposedly" should sort out our voes. Only time will tell if that turns out to be the case....

My question is - does anybody know of any cost effective / simple / effcicient manner of handling this - that we could consider using at least till the new MRO goes live??

Cheers
Alex
