Uncle Bob, the grumpiest moustachioed ex-porn star known to man, is still manning the desks at Donington Hall for bmi. And he must be in his 80's, or maybe he just looks it !

Maybeenot,

You try buying a pair of wellies in Barcelona when it's 32C in the shade. I was having a hard enough job carrying the 1/2 scale B757 under me arm.

The Google refers to Malc C, a moniker he was allocated during a BY Ops re-union in PMI I believe.

And if by 'experienced' you mean 'seen every possible situation on every possible aircraft type since Orville & Wilbur went skyward' then yep, BY Ops controllers were VERY experienced.

JB007 - BY Ops had 2 separate seniotory lists, as I recall. One for those who joined in the 20th century and one for the 19th!

RB looked many days over 20 when he was only 19! Could be the 1st Great Grand-Parent of Ops?!
