Maxjet
MAXjet filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on 24 December 2007.
They are blaming their discontinued services due to fuel prices and the resulting impact on the credit climate for airlines.
I thought they might have mentioned those a/c they purchased from the desert, where junk and most of their money went on its maintenance.
it is now tug of war between eos and silverjet to pounce on maxjet customers and also fly stranded passengers in las vagas,L a and new york.
eos being the likely choice for the jfk - london run.
lets look back at a great airline....
*late departures.
*aircraft problems,iv never seen s r technics so busy.
*payment troubles - quick at asking for tows,strapping down freight and whatever the engineers do,but slow in paying out.
business class airline???????
s r techinics were paid 3 days ago 120,000+
*anything else iv missed ????????????
what about avaince?????
deepest sympithies go out to the maxjet staff, especially at this time of year.
well done everyone that includes management at s/a,lets hope things pick up and we have another good year.
