Types of codeshares

I assumed that a codeshare, was a codeshare, was a codeshare. But, after reading the Airline Alliance Survey 2007 in Airline Business I notice that different types of codeshares are mentioned.

Can anyone list the different types of codeshares and their meaning?

For example:
United Airlines has a freesale codeshare with LOT
Turkish Airlines has a reciprocal codeshare with Royal Air Maroc and a codeshare with TAP

What's the difference between a block space and a block seat codeshare?

I teach airline logistics and although this is more detailed than I usually go I would like to provide the information to my students if possible.
