Dispatch career in Asia Pacific
Hey all,
I was almost goin to attend FAA dispatch training for job opportunities in Asia-Pac region, until i found out that a fresher/junior dispatcher (FOO) is paid "peanuts" in this part of the world.
For e.g. --I am looking at Singapore as my job location, where salaries are as low as SG$1500 or (US$950) per month.
Is my information true.???
I am disappointed//
Kindly help who are aware of Singapore/ job market !!!

Do the FAA license and you'll get way better paid jobs in the APAC region!!
From what I hear Hong Kong is the place to go these days.
Send me a PM if you require further guidance. I might have some good advice for you..
Good Luck!

hey,
i'm an Indian and planning on going abroad to get a FD licence because in India it takes 2 years of working as an ops assistant and then depends on whether or not your company wants to send you for the exam. You cannot apply to take the exams as a private individual.
If I go ahead and get the FAA licence, how difficult do you think it would be to get a job solely on the basis of that licence?
