day of a Ryanair pilot?
Hi
Can a ryanair pilot tell me what it like flying for this company. how many sectors per day whats need to be done in the flightdeck in the 25 minutes u have. Do you already have the return flightplan in hand so ur prepared to load the FMC on arrival and who does your loadsheets dispatch or FO.

You can do up to 6 sectors a day. You leave the crew room with all flight plans for the day and you have a ramp agent who does the loadsheet. In your 25 mins you set up the FMC and stand outside on a headset watching the aircraft being fuelled.

Top Jock has basically summed it up.
I was a dispatcher at for FR for 4yrs and my advice to you is dont even consider them! I was on the flight deck of my assigned a/c every turnaround doing the loadsheet if i had a £1 for everytime i heard the crews moaning i would be a billionaire!
Only reasons the captains i knew stayed was for the money, nothing else. If your a new F/O you will get shafted from day one, not to mention you would have already had to pay for you own type rating!
A friend of mine started as an F/O with them last year and earn't less in his first year than i did as a dispatcher!
Look elsewhere!
