Post US Requirements for Dispatcher ticket

I was just wondering what the requirements were to become a dispatcher in the US. I've looked at the FARs and couldn't even see any parts related to the certificate.

Also, do they just have one certificate, or are there different catagories (?) like 135, 121, pax, freight only etc?

TIA

Wink

Try looking at FAR Part 65 Subpart C and no there is only one license for aircraft dispatchers.

Cheers

Thanks GW. I had been looking on the computer so I only had the titles of the sections in front of me.
