Post FAA Dispatch Course

Gday all
Can anyone recommend a good Dispatch Training Company. One that won't rip you off.

Are any available over the net to complete.

Cheers

Howdy,

what do you mean by one that "won`t rip you off". Basically there is two types of training facilities. The once that have a fairly good name and offer good training and than there are so called license mills. Of course, the good schools have their price.

As for schools offering training over the net. Not aware that anyone would (completely) do so, as yet. I know that AGS has a distance study course (that still requires a week on the site training). You might also want to try Embry Riddle, since they offer a qide variety of courses over the net (or distance study).

Cheers

ADFTC is an excellent school. Their telephone number is 817-291-2290 and website is airlinedispatch.com. The school is owned by a former American Airlines dispatcher with over 16 years experience.

The school is located near DFW Apt,they have a 6 week course or a 1 or 2 week accelerated course if you are a pilot or have airline experience. The next classes start Jan 7. Ask for Richard or Barbara. Very laid back but professional. 10 out of a 10.

Hi Vistabena:

Check out Flight Control Academy in Tucson.

Small school (by choice) and Owners have over 70 years of actual dispatch experience.

Good program especially in the Meteorology Curriculum.
