Question Edinburgh ops

Hi Guys

Just wondering if there are any Servisair or Midland people based at Edinburgh on Pprune.

I'm hoping to get a job here for the summer and if anyone can offer any advice then it would definitely be worth a pint or two in return!

Many thanks in advance

Thought about Stansted for a nice lazy summer? On the handling front all the companies there seem to have a general shortage of manpower on all fronts.

Wink

I had thought about coming down to London as I used to work at Heathrow for a summer job, but being up in Edinburgh and having RAF commitments over the summer here, it is a lot more practical to stay here.

Are you based as Stansted ??

If so I'd be interested to hear what working there is like !

Thanks for the reply anyway

Cool

have heard it might be prudent to steer clear of Servisair Stansted. They have lost too many contracts there recently. Big cut backs on the middle management side.

Word has it GLOBE is the place to be now.
Is this true.

Thumbs up

Ob,
Hiya Mate,
Groundstar are basically Northeast Aviation from NCL. New to STN arrived here in May.
They are contracted to look after Go only for about 18 months then I assume they will try for more business on the airfield.
Drop them a line, not sure what the pay is like though.
Cheers

Exclamation

I would steer clear of SVSAir STN, I hear they are a joke. Mix a lot of employee apathy with inept middle mngt and you get SVSAir STN. From what I hear, no one likes to work there!

Hey OFF BLOX, FYI Groundstar ctc tel is 01279 662680, I think they're still looking for staff at all levels. Re Servisair STN, I think best to steer clear for a while, although I hear latest station manager to arrive on the scene is actually clearing out some of the deadwood middle management - so things could change there.
