Post Married Rosters

Could somebody please enlighten me as to the definition of "A married roster"?
Although the majority of companies don't seem to operate such schemes nowdays is it simply a term employed by airlines, or is there a definition laid down in print somewhere ?

I don't think there is any written definition of the term "Married Roster".

We use it as a form of description for two people who are rostered together consistently over a period of time.

The idea being that if a married couple worked for the same airline they would be rostered the same duties and days off, in order to spend time with each other.

I couldn't think of anything worse!

Unhappy

I work, the usual ops roster of 4 on 4 off and have a "married roster"..

An arrangement with rostering, for myself and partner who is cabin crew...

Works quite well, but I have more days off than her, so we sometimes only have 1 day off a week..
