Question NED KELLY AVIATION

Here we go again. I see that our friends at Ned Kelly are posting vacancies again. trouble is, do these vacancies and salary scales actually exist. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

And Uncle Ned himself if you are Pprune-ing, your comments are also worth a listen

Thumbs down

Ive tried with Kelly twice before..even spoken to guy called Spencer there. Never seen even a glimmer of a response out of them. Would also like to know what the score is with that lot.

Mmmm, where do we start? Kelly Aviation is an offshoot of Kelly Services. A chap called Spencer Poulton runs the department, which at last count, had a workforce of one. Himself. Anyway, I have posted numerous applications for work through Mr Poulton and have never received a reply. It would be nice if he actually acknowledged applications but then I guess he is too busy. How does he actually think people get jobs?? It would also be interesting to get thoughts from the airlines that actually use Kelly Aviation for recruitment. What do they think of the service they provide??

I actually recieved a phone call from Spencer earlier this week. I have to admit that I have often seen their advertisments but have never actually contacted them until recently. He seemed helpful enough, but as you say, if it's just him running it then he's probably snowed under most of the time.

Any body else has dealings with them?

Question

There must be more than one of them as I have spoken to 'Faye' on more than one occasion, and I have to say she is extremely helpful. Is there any truth in the rumour that Stelios is using them to recruit ????

Question

Here's a wicked thought, if they have such a bad reputation, surely their management are going about things in a very strange way.
Some of you will one day, possibly are now, be in a position to use their services, surely all they are doing is biteing off the hand, that will one day feed them ???????????

Maybe now that they are dealing with EZY, things will change. Stelios don't take kind to being messed about.

Red face

What is it with you people, did it ever occur to you that perhaps your credentials failed to meet the requirements for the positions being filled.
I have always found Spencer & his team helpful
Before you all start shouting about they could reply etc etc etc, how many company's tend to operate that way these days. You only hear back from them if they are interested enough to interview you.
JSR(off-blox) - perhaps the message is nothing has changed since this topic made the forum in Sept last year, so keep working on your cv, must get lucky sometime

Lala - firstly, please don't refer me to "Off Blox" anymore. You obviously have me mistaken for someone else. Second, I don't need to update the CV and I certainly don't need luck.

Like you, I succeed using the knowledge and skills gathered over the years. In fact, I'm off again next week on another 3 month contract. This time though sadly, NO SAND !!

The thread was opened again because it seems that once again, Kelly seem to be firing off into the dark. Like many others on here, I have no gripes about them, but courtesy goes a long way. Even a "No" letter or e-mail is better than nothing. Better still though, being placed into work by them might, just might prove me wrong.

Keep it up.........

Jump Seat, Oh dear me, looks like you struggle in keeping your identity secret. Oh well.
I admit, I have not been successful in finding you a job however, it is not through lack of trying but being bitter dosent help it only damages your reputation, not mine.

Jobs for ALL

Looks like you too have mistaken me for someone else!! As for being bitter, how can you say that when you don't know me ??

Keep trying is all I say. Find us all a job and we can all stop the slagging. Deserved or not.

Maybe there are jobs out there, we just don't see many results. Maybe you could prove us wrong.

Jump seat,

I know of no other applicants registered that are on a 3 month contract next week as confirmed to my consultant yesterday.

That aside, I am still trying and will update you shortly. OK?

Jump Seat,

I apologise, not to you Jump Seat but to the person I have mistaken you for.
Obviously, I can't update you shortly as I don't know who you are.
We try our best to find jobs for everyone, if our best is not good enough it means we have not located a client that matches your aspirations or profile.
I wish you luck.

Cool

sounds like theres more of us about wanting jobs, and not enough jobs around to ,meet the demand.

not much anyone can do about that, unless you have the money to start up a major airline! (shame!!)
