I work inflight rostering at UAL and we have been getting slammed hard with FAs going ONSL (on sicklist).

I took 10 once in a 5 min period. Over Christmas system wide they said there were over 1800-2000 FAs ONSL. Our standbys are nonexistant - for as soon as they checkin they go out. Plus, at UA, ORD covers everyone else's shortstaffing, so we are always deadheading crew to LAX/SFO/DEN/IAD to cover their flights.

Right now, most narrowbodies are going out only with FAA minimums on board - enhanced/max staffing is out the window right now. Until the ONSLs decline, 6 on a full B757 flight is nonexistant.

Al Timeter/Low Life, which ever you are today, with that attitude, real or not - and your ID suspected, - do you think any Maersk crew will ever do YOU (not the company) a favour ever again ?

Do you really believe in what you posted ?
Think hard on this one.

You are one sad gimp.

Watcha JB,

I think someone is winding me up or confusing me with another. Don't seem to recall posting anything so offensive it warrants this kind of abuse.

Still proves a point about some elements in our industry doesn't it.

Some of this stems from the company forum.
Speak to ya soon.

AL T
I agree with 007 there is an issue here, mind you at least Frosty is willing to have a go in public rather than on the private forum.
Frosty - chill out, don't you see this is all part of the Crewing / Ops - Aircrew banter, we love you really so there's no need to get personal in your views..As for favours your right in saying (Company) apart from that when my old man's on your flight your doing me a favour, but apart from that we don't give a t-ss..

Al T / 007 I think what Maersk needs is Spiros, then these guys will be suicidal...

Xmas sickness

As soon as we approach the season where the C/A's get their stockings filled they suddenly develop an even greater (than normal) urge to go 'sick'.

My suggestion is for all airlines to close over xmas and new year...give us all a break!
