What are you all talking about?
Waco you're not old yet.
The people you're dealing with are not worth getting stressed about, they only shout louder because they think they need to. They are only failed Ops blokes after all.
Remember, if flying was difficullt ops blokes would do it.

What is Stress?
Stress is simply the body's non-specific response to any demand made on it. Stress is not by definition synonymous with nervous tension or anxiety. Stress provides the means to express talents and energies and pursue happiness; it can also cause exhaustion and illness, either physical or psychological; heart attacks and accidents. The important thing to remember about stress is that certain forms are normal and essential.
---------------
The following are tips on how to maintain a healthier lifestyle and to prepare you to cope with the stress of everyday living.
1.Structure each day to include a minimum of 20 minutes of aerobic exercise.
2.Eat well balanced meals, more whole grains, nuts, fruits and vegetables. 3.Substitute fruits for desserts.
4.Avoid caffeine. The substance may aggravate anxiety, insomnia, nervousness and trembling.
5.Reduce refined sugars. Excess sugars cause frequent fluctuation in blood glucose levels, adding stress to the body's physiological functioning.
6.Reduce alcohol and drugs. These substances may add to headaches and swelling, decrease coping mechanisms and add to depression.
7.Get a least 7 hours of sleep nightly.
8.Spend time each day with at least one relaxation technique - imagery, daydreaming, prayer, yoga or meditation.
9.Take a warm bath or shower.
10.Go for a walk.
11.Get in touch! Hug someone, hold hands, or stroke a pet. Physical contact is a great way to relieve stress.
----------
So when the next pilot comes in the office, showing all the signs of being stressed out, before you tell him to get some sleep, go for a walk, hug them - then duck

and there I thought I can offered all an insight into the causes of stress, and you brand me a 'sick puppy'
To me stress is what you make of it. I just prioritise, but at the same time make it feel as if each query/call etc etc is equally important. If the person interrupting your train of thought thinks that their problem is being dealt with, they go away contented. Where's the stress in that.
So that aside, what superhero do you want to be today to deal with all those problems?

I think you should direct your comment to one individual - dubduck - as that person seems to only have a one track mind = bickering.
I have no desire to enter into, as you rightly put it, slagging match.
I did feel that a bit of light hearted numour may go towards relieving all those who feel that the job is too stressful!! I for one have never felt stress at work only out of work, or am I just kidding myself?
Have a nice, stress free day, and look no icons, seems to upset the masses!!

bickering is something you are doing. i'm just annoyed that good threads degenerate into worthless slanging matches. even the
regualator jb007 agrees with me.
as for your hints on relieving stress, if you go through all that rigmoral do you ever
get any work done ?
