Lido Flight Planning Software
This has probably been asked before, but....
Just wondering if anybody has experience of using Lido for both ETOPS and
short/medium haul planning.
Just wondering how it compares to Jetplanner, for ease of use and reliability.
Is it user friendly?

Flight Planning Software
hello ,
among some flight planning software , lido , jeppesen , sita , ezw ....
i would like to ask for the best of them for my needs:
- best and simple soft interface.
- the one who takes care more for fuel economic , wich one is more economic in fuel calculations.
-the minimum of bugs.
-the difference between them
or can someone give a link to a tutor about the difference between such flight planning system ,
i do not need charts or notams or meteo because they belong to sia and meteo centers.
many thanks

hi folks,
have used LIDO OC for approx 5 Years (Shorthaul, longhaul, ETOPS / NON ETOPS)
Its quiet a good tool. Itīs easy to handle and provides you with all you need for professional flightplanning.
It still has some bugs, but nothing to worry about.

Based upon our set up, far from it mate.
Always need a dispatcher (or two or three depending on your sector count) to look after the automatics failures.
For reasons (maybe) unique to our set up, despite being auto, the manual office can end up processing more plans than the automatic office regularly.
