Can anyone provide a general idea of current pay scales for Dispatchers / Operational Controllers at the various Middle East airlines (Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Gulf etc...) Salaries and housing allowances and other relevant info would be much appreciated. Thank You in advance.

At Emirates your looking at around Dhs14000 - Dhs18000 all inclusive.

Thats about $3800 - $4900 (tax free)

But DXB is not cheap......

RAK airways, in RKT.

9200 incl accomm at the beginning but now they only want indians/fillipinos so they've dropped to 4500-5000 & no accomm.

Not worth the headache

At Qatar Airways the salary package is around :
- 6000 to 7000 QR for Jr Flight dispatcher.
- 7000 to 8000 QR for asst Flight dispatcher.
- 9000 to 10000 QR for Flight dispatcher.
all inclusive.
Just beware for the accommodation in qatar, it will cost you a lot.

18000Dhs for Emirates? Does that include the allowances such as Utilities and Tansport? Being offered 4900Dhs/mth for utilities. Is it sufficient?

Hi there

Breakdown of Emirates Flight Dispatcher saliry.
We are clasified under the saliry scale of 8
Junior management
Basic saliry 10400dhs
Transport allowance 450dhs
Housing allowance 5500dhs

I find my saliry more than enough. Accomodation are the only problem.
Depends on where u want to live u can pay from 4500dhs to 7000dhs
per month. Cars are cheap here and food are the same as in Europe.
