Taking of pictures by anyone airside is prohibited unless accompanied by written permision from BAA this also needs to have proof of insurance indemnity of 2.5 million GBP.
This application has to be made through the public information department off BAA at the appropriate airport.

Airlines to be photographed also have to be notified and permission sought from the station managers.

FAA airlines prohibit photography of all aircraft by non authorised people.

Why??

I have taken photos airside as a passenger so whats the difference if your staff or is it not allowed for either?

I doubt I'll apply for permission didn't want a job at the airport just to take photos not allowed to take!
