Who gets Xmas & New Year off?

I was just wondering how different companies administer their leave at xmas and new year. How do you decide what's a fair system? I would be interested to hear peoples views and what systems are in use at your company.

Depending on who worked last year and also on personal preference, but then there aren't that many of us.
Unless you are talking about crews then that is another matter!!!
