Airlines currently handled by Servisair at NCL are (for Summer 06):

easyjet, MyTravel, SN Brussels, Air France, Ryanair, Air Scotland, Atlantic Airways, Austrian, BritishJet, Futura, Flyjet (when they restart using own aircraft), OnurAir, Ajet and Karthago.

Before the start of this summer they lost HLX, Air Malta and Excel.

They have suffered from alot of flack recently, due to poor service, bad staff attitude and lack of equipment. Most of the negative comments can be found on other discussions within these forums. However, swissport seem to of bitten off more than they can chew so the tables could be about to turn for the handling agents at NCL.

Aer Lingus contract is up for grabs as are a few of the charter carriers, whose contracts are near renewal stages.

I'd heard that the airport had told swissport that they could not take on any more contracts as it was unfair to the circus. Also heard on the grapevine that the circus have the Aer Lingus contract anyway. As for Old Greggs original question all the old management team are there (make of that what you will) and nothing much has changed over the past year. It's not the worse place in the world to work, maybe not the best but it beats being stuck in an office 9-5 all day. As you will know when you worked there a year ago the staff in the office, pax and traffic, are great and we still have a good laugh even when it all going t**ts up.

Be sure to pass on my congratulations to young Tammi at Easyjet on her appearance in Flight International this week.

I'll bet the office isn't as much fun as it used to be though. It was a hoot.

Afternoon all.

TJ

Keep a beady eye on those screens my lad - a certain dashing chap will be scooting back and forth to BHD on a regular basis very soon. Just have to try and remember that in this job I can't go tooling along below Hadrians Wall. Well, not unless I fancy a visit to the office.

Beers this Friday in Wings anyone? I could do with a nice long sit down after all my nice long sit downs.

Jeez, I crack myself up!

Interestingly have you seen any equipment service air use that should not have been repainted or scrapped shortly after the war? well at least the 90's.................................... bad planning and no wonder they are losing work world wide.........................
