What are Licensing Requirements for Supernumary Pilots?
Where you have single-pilot aircraft eg C310 or upcoming Eclipse 500, and they are used commercially, it is common to have a second pilot for safety reasons. Do these 'pilots' need CPLs/ATPLs? They are flying for hire/reward but they are not actually officially flight crew. Indeed do they legally need any licensing?
