ahahaha - i thought as much.
well ive got an application form for the position now and need to state my skills for it - if it knew what the job entailed i could fill out the form.
on a positive note, no one has ever complained about my tea making skills so i could be in with a fighting chance!

If you told us who the job is with, we might have a fighting chance of helping to explain the job. It varies from company to company

yes they are.. one of my coursemates has suggested that a crewing assistant tries to find jobs for the pilots who have been trained by CTC?

CTC aviation is a Training School where wannabies are sent to get a licence on for example a A320 or B737 rating prior to being sent back to the Airline that is sponsoring them if they are lucky. I imagine the Crewing Assistant (apart from making the tea) will be reponsible for ensuring these candidates are in the right place at the right time, as well as ensuring the CTC Trainers are up to date as well. In some cases also in the past CTC Trainers go and fly with Airlines so you could be coordinating this as well.

You would need an understanding of CAP371 possibly (the CAA Rules on limits on flying, rest etc), communication skills and common sense.
