Cool Obtaining an AOC

Has anyone obtained an Air Operators Certificate? Would you like to share your experience?

I'm interested in length of time the process requires. What kind of operation manuals are required, management personnel required, experience level for a pilot for a helicopter air taxi operation.

Just trawled the web and found

http://cset.faa.gov/CERT.HTM

This might help, the CPD (Certification Process Document) outlines
the requirements, and although FAA might not apply totally where
you are located, it serves as a recognised guide globally.

Cheers, Chooch
