Cool Ground Operations Co-ordinator

Hi everyone - does anyone know how much money a full-time (albeit fixed-term contract) Ground Ops Coordinator for a "major UK leisure airline" can expect to bring home at the end of the month?

I have no previous experience in the job, but I was a cabin crew in a previous life, and I have a recent frozen ATPL/IR.

Cheers

I worked there many years ago.

I presume its for air2000?

Worth about £15k. days/nights

Nice people good for a laugh

3 main parts to the job
*Customer service - lots of it(delays etc)
*Weight/Balance - Trained but don't do any just shadow handling agent dispatchers.
*Traffic Office - Admin, Flight board, compiling Flt Brief(NOTAMS WX etc)

You are basically an airport rep

Thats about it!

Cool

Thanks for that. Yep, it's for Air2K. I'm keeping my options open!

Cheers

I worked as a GOC for Air2K for about 2 years. The salary i was on was only £12500 but was based at BRS and CWL so may bew less for the regional airports. Good fun job but the roster left a lot to be desired for - 2am starts etc! But that might just be a regional airport thingy!!

Not seen this job advertised but know a couple of people there. They seem to be putting all new starts in at Payscale Grade E at the moment which I'm told starts at £13k.
