747 "Classic" Q?
 

Could someone tell me,

If the Equipment cooling, NO AIRFLOW light on P4 (F/E Panel) comes on, I believe it goes into SMOKE mode and the flight deck blower stops and the dump valve opens. Now does pushing the reset switch start the fan again or does it have to be held down (I suppose your on the ground and there is no diff P) so to run the fan until the NO AIRFLOW light goes out.

Any help greatly appreciated and you can expect more Qs.

This situation usually occurs when no ground power is available and also co-incides with the equipment cooling horn sounding(very loudly)the only way the FE panel push button can be reset and subsequent cooling air being restored is to apply grnd power and hold the pushbutton till the warning light goes out and the horns stops.The flt deck blower and dump valve are unaffected in this situation.
