A&P Question
About 10 years ago I got a letter from a A&P field rep which allowed me to take the A&P exams. I did not get around to it but still have the letter.. Does anyone know how long its valid for..

I was allowed to take mine 12 YEARS after the authorisation letter. That was in 2007.
It's a case of going back round to your field office, and see what they can do for you. The FAA rep was very helpful and re-issued my form. Good luck! |
Mine didn't put a date on so in effect they are still vald some 15 years later!

Your "authorization" form signed by FAA - do you mean form 8610-2? Legally there is no expiry for that.
But once you start taking your first exam, you have to finish it within 2 years. |
