JAA Licence? Career Looking for help!

Hey There Guys and Gals,

I was just wondering if anyone could maybe offer a word of advice here. I studied Aeronautical Engineering at Glasgow for 2years and then made a decision to leave and transfer to IT at another Uni.

Anyway I now find myself in the position that I am not enjoying what I am doing and am trying to find out options for getting back into Aero Eng - not necessarily the degree option.

I have a Diploma of Higher Education in Engineering Studies but don't know exactly what that is worth in a professional manner. I was browsing some sites and was wondering how exactly you go about gaining a JAR66 or JAR147 - I might be looking for the wrong thing but I thought I'd maybe leave a post to see if anyone could help me out a bit.

Anyway Thanks for reading and for anyone who leaves a reply its much appreciated.

Cheers
