can any of you lads and ladies (engineers) tell me what are normal expenses for going away from base for a day/night etc for your airline.

Get allowance for B/fast, Lunch, Dinner and incidentals, usually based on local rates, different parts of the world, different allowances, normally work out OK, after 4 nights we get free laundry cleaning.

Approx £2.50/hr (taxable) worldwide, or £2.10 if away less than 12 hrs . (It used to be parity with Aircrew rates, but has slipped behind theirs over past few years).

I wish........ We get £1.75 ph whilst away from base plus hotel breakfast paid for
