Scrapheap Challenge aviator special!
Just seen an ad for a Scrapheap Challenge special (Channel four, 22nd Dec, Sunday teatime. If you're an engineer and don't watch it: shame on you! You, you accountant you!) Here's a blurb
"In this 95 minute Mega Challenge special you will see three teams that have 20 hours to build an AEROPLANE. The teams come from Britain, America and France. The catch is that the teams only have the tools and materials that would have been available to the Wright brothers in the 1900's."
Should be good to watch, but I wonder what they'll be classified as. Homebuilt? experimental? maybe just mental.

My money's on the French already.........
I'm still laughing at the antics of the contestants in the other projects - Properjob! I almost wet the sofa yesterday watching the Mini-launching trebuchet come apart!
One of the few items that will be worth watching this Christmas!
