B1, 2 engineer course
Hello so I'm currently becoming a b1 engineer. As far as I am aware the only company in the uk that does piston engineering course is resource group and it's all the way down in Scotland. I am very interested in opening my own training school, with scholarships to lower the barriers to entry, to help people get into ga industry much esair and cheaper. However I have no clue how to start about doing this or if it's even viable with the capital I have. Any advice or help would be appreciated?

Sorry to say, but piston GA is lower level than jet world in terms of money circulating, so market consequently offers only that much. For getting a B1.2 licence, (piston airplanes) you can get B1.1 (jet airplanes) modules in a school nearby, then do in Scotland only differentiating modules (M11.2 differences, and M15) That is all you need to go piston engine way from jets - (and appropriate practical experience for B1.2 licence and ratings, of course.)
Setting up a Part-147 is quite an undertaking, believe me. If you have a market, go for it, but please do realistic calculations first.
