Hot wings !
Hi all
A friend of mine who works at a major airport in the Middle East told me that when it gets really hot they are sometimes requested to
cool aircraft wings down with water from the Fire department tenders, purpose being to reduce fuel temperature.
Im not familiar with this procedure, does anyone have experience of this and is it documented anywhere ?

Worked in Riyadh for 5 years and temperature was 50 plus, A/C could not take off some days but we never did cool the wings.
Keep them up Boys
