Work boots/Footwear
I’m looking to purchase a new set of boots that will be comfortable for long shifts, durable and worth the money. If anyone knows any good brands/models suitable for aviation that would be great.

Most comfortable ones I've had over the years have been Cofra brand......must be stylish as well as they are Italian? Quite a few UK suppliers if you search for them. DM's are OK but take some breaking in.
I got well over four years out of my first Airsafe safety boots. Very comfortable, lightweight and didn't need breaking in other than loosing the initial slight stiffness you'd get with any new footwear. Carbon fibre toecaps don't set off airport security scanners, which is another big plus. Made in China but don't let that put you off. Bear in mind that sizes tend to run a little large though.

Very comfortable and the composite toe caps don't set off the metal detectors at security.
They've also worn really well, I'll probably get another year or two out of them.

I agree with Tom, Cofra are good boots, comfy, composite toecap & waterproof and a side zip so you can slip on and off easy, just in case of a security random check.
Best boots I ever had was a pair of bluesteel from down under. IMO they were the rolls royce of boots for aviation engineers, all the above features and even more comfy than the Cofra I have now. Sadly I can find them anywhere, so I assume they are no longer made.

I walk around 10km a day in work and have worn Cofra boots for the last 10 years, would never wear anything else now.
