Career Change back into Aviation

Hi Everyone.

I'm an ex pilot that got out of the industry 15 years ago, since been working in the composites industry running my own business.
I'm planning a career change back into aviation in 2020, but not as a pilot but looking to move into a Engineer/Tech jobs.

Is there an intake for somebody mid 30's and looking for a career change.
My background is Diploma in Aviation and a Bachelor of Tech (Aviation), in my day held a Com Pilot Licence, Single IFR and all ATPL subjects complete.
I would love to discuss with someone what my best way to go about it would be.

Thanks

It looks like you're in Australia so I'll speak in generalities here. It seems like a composite repair shop would be up your alley. How about becoming a LAME and opening a shop?
