A319-111 Flap Question

Apologies for the poor quality of photo.

On the Airbus 319-111, far end of the top of of the right flap, there seems to be a small area where the flap has a small notch out of it and it appears the metal is bending backward slightly. (Very approx 100mm length of notch/cut).

I took a pic of it as I don't know what is the usual state. I did inform the cabin crew on alighting.

As the flap would be retracted during a pre-flight inspection, the corner notch/bent bit wouldn't be visible.

Sorry if this is a waste of time but I felt I must ask.

Thanks for your consideration.

Looks suspect. Warrants further inspection though.
